Wilbraham gets way too much flak in my opinion. He didn't look up to speed when he first joined, but steadily started 'doing a job' after initially looking out of his depth. Played a big part in crucial goals against QPR, Middlesbrough, Cardiff, Millwall, etc. (helping us gain an extra six points just from those assists), and definitely helped take us over the line. Bit unfortunate for him that as soon as he began to find his feet, he got injured...

There was a period after he joined last season when we scored about 5 times more regularly when he was on the pitch than when he wasn't, so he offered something!

He's had a decent pre-season, and although he's not first-choice by any means, should give us something different for a season at least. I doubt he'll still be here this time next summer (if we stay up), but if he is, he'll have clearly proved his worth.

Agree, absolutely no chance of letting such a talismanic captain leave.

I genuinely believe he's good enough to get plenty of goals next season. Said when we were in League One that he's the best all-round striker we've had since Ashton, and now he'll prove it!

The way things are, even an England call-up's not out of the question. Better than Bothroyd, and only a year older!

Paul Lambert has done nothing wrong since he came , he has turned around an ailing club and inspired all the players he has worked with to bring out moments of glory. You only have to look at the major improvemnet in style & entertainment in the second season he wass in charge. It produced some outstanding football , possibly the best I have ever seen in 45 yrs of watching football , not just Norwich.
Anthony Mcnamee has contributed to that progress in a significant way as has everyone who has pulled on a shirt.
